Great in your efficiency: heating and cooling plates

The circulation of liquids such as heat transfer oil or water within a heating plate enables very precise temperatures to be achieved at the surface of the plate. These plates can be used for both surface heating and cooling.

Heat build-up in the middle of the plate and temperature drop in the edge area, which occur more frequently with electric heating plates, are avoided by the circulation of a liquid medium. As a rule, the thermal behaviour of these plates is somewhat slower than that of an electrically heated plate.

Even medium heating plates can be divided into several zones. And of course they can also be used as cooling plates. All designs allow the integration of vacuum and blow air ducts in almost any design.

The proven sandwich construction allows any design of the heating circuits. Breakthroughs and recesses in the heating surfaces are easy to realise. By means of these registers, counter-rotating flow variants are effectively implemented


Different systems are used according to your requirements:

Aluminium tube register -welded-
Aluminium square or rectangular tubes are welded to form a tube register. Aluminium sheets in various material thicknesses are glued to the entire surface of the press and to the back.

Steel and stainless steel pipe registers -welded-
Rectangular steel pipes are welded into a coil. Either with bolted aluminium plates or with glued fine or stainless steel sheets. Operating temperatures: 120 - 280° C

Copper and stainless steel pipe systems in milled aluminium plates
Copper pipes are inserted into a machined aluminium plate and glued or screwed to a second sheet. Compared to other heating plate systems, the number of welded or soldered joints is 100 % lower - this eliminates the risk of leakage. If leakage should occur due to operating errors, all plate systems can of course be repaired within a short period of time. This variant is primarily used as a mould carrier in PUR processing. Operating temperatures: approx. 60°

Aluminium and steel plates Deep hole drilled
Al cast plates, finely milled with deep hole drilling. The individual heating or cooling channels can be connected by means of a cross hole or by milling on the end face, which is then welded pressure-tight.
